19th June 2007: ITiCSE 2007 is being held in co-operation with BCS-HCI. New supporter: GeoMEM

25th May 2007: The exhibition of Beatles photographs has opened in the Queen Mother Building. Tutorial participants and delegates attending the Tuesday evening reception will be able to view it.

23rd May 2007: New exhibitors: Springer and Caledonian Gifts, who have an exclusive range of Scottish souvenirs which delegates can order in advance, and collect at the conference.

19th April 2007: Announcing our third keynote speaker - Professor Chris van der Kuyl, Chairman of Tayforth Consulting Limited, who will be sharing his views on what industry needs from CS graduates.

1st March 2007: Instructions for authors of accepted papers can be found at the paper submission page.

25th February 2007: Following a very successful Program Committee meeting, 61 papers, 2 tutorials and 2 panels have been accepted. Authors are being notified in early March, follow this link to the online program.

15th February 2007: Workshop on effective learning in object-oriented programming to be held on 21st February at the University of Dundee.

14th February 2007: Announcing our second keynote speaker - Dr Vicki Hanson, IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Her presentation will focus on raising awareness of the needs of disabled users when creating computer applications. There will be a live demonstration of an exciting new technique for understanding user needs.

24th January 2007: Advertising flyers are now printed, contact us if you can distribute them at your own event or institution.

15th January 2007: The submission site for papers, tutorials, working groups and panels has now closed. We have received a record number of paper submissions (over 200), many thanks to all the authors. The reviewing process has now started. See the deadlines page for all important dates.

12th January 2007: Announcing our first keynote speaker - Dr Paul Curzon, Queen Mary, University of London, who will be sharing his views on Serious Fun in Computer Science.

15th December 2006: A unique exhibition of photographs of the Beatles, taken by Michael Peto, and gifted to the University of Dundee, will be on display in the Queen Mother Building during the ITiCSE 2007 conference. The building is open 9-5 weekdays, and there is an conference reception and event on the Tuesday evening, when delegates will also be able to view the exhibition. 1st December 2006: We are hoping to have onsite child care for all ages of children. To assist with planning, please mail us with numbers of children and language(s) spoken. This does not commit you to anything - you will need to formally book and pay nearer the time.

30th June 2006: Thanks to all who visited us at ITiCSE 2006. Hope you spotted the deliberate mistake, ITiCSE 2007 is of course taking place in JUNE 2007 and not July.
