Child care
ITiCSE 2007 is proud to provide childcare options for delegates attending the conference. Childcare will be provided by an external creche company Wiz Kidz Creches. The creche will be on-site at the conference venue. They will fill a room with age appropriate toys and activities although with qualified childcare professionals.
The opening hours of the creche are:
- Monday Morning (08:30 – 12:30)
- Monday Afternoon (13:00 – 17:00)
- Tuesday Morning (08:30 – 13:00)
- Wednesday Morning (08:30 – 13:00)
- Wednesday afternoon (13:30 – 18:00)
Juice is provided by the creche and is given at regular intervals. Snacks are not provided, but staff are happy to supervise snacks that are provided by parent.
It is advised to secure a place for your child by filling out the registration form. You can book your child into as many of the creche slots that you want. Pre-registering your child allows for a simple and stressfree way to drop off your child. In addition, it secures your child’s place.
The ITiCSE 2007 team are currently trying to secure a supporter to cover the provision of the creche. If a supporter is not found, then the cost will need to be recovered from the parents. A substantial discount has already been secured from Wiz Kidz.
We have set a registration date of Tuesday 24th April 2007 by which stage we will be able to confirm if a cost will be incurred and what is will be. Should there be limited or no interest in the crèche we reserve the right to a cancel it. This decision will also be made shortly after Tuesday 24th April 2007. All being well, you will be asked to provide final confirmation of the place in early May.
Wiz Kidz is happy to discuss the provision of childcare (in the form of babysitting) for times outside those stated above, such as to allow you to attend the conference dinner. The babysitting service is offered directly to the parents at a rate of £15 per hour. All babysitters are qualified childcare professionals. If you are interested, please indicate this on the form.
