Tutorials
Tutorials provide indepth coverage of a topic of interest to computing educators.
A tutorial should provide a thorough and comprehensive exploration of a topic in either a half-day (three hours) or
full-day (six hours) session, and may be held the day before the conference, or during the main conference period.
Please consider submitting a tutorial which fits into one of the
submission categories.
There maybe an additional fee for conference attendees to participate in a tutorial.
Abstracts of accepted tutorials will be published in the conference proceedings. A condition of this publication is an author signed ACM copyright release form.
The official language of the conference is English. Submissions should use clear, ordinary grammar and avoid the use of colloquialisms that might be difficult for those who speak English as a second language.
How to prepare your tutorial proposal
Tutorials proposals are limited to a maximum of 2 pages and must adhere to the ITiCSE 2007 Format Instructions.
How to categorize your tutorial
Note that there are several ways you must categorize your tutorial submission.
Within the proposal itself, you must provide Category and Subject Descriptors, General Terms, and Keywords.
These requirements are described in more detail in the ITiCSE 2007 Format Instructions.
When you submit your tutorial proposal you also must categorize it for our database.
The categories you choose are used to select the reviewers who will evaluate your proposal.
Please be sure to choose only the one or two categories that best fit your work.
Selecting too many categories increases the likelihood that your submission will be given to a reviewer who is unfamiliar with the content.
