ITiCSE Student Bursaries
This year the British Computer Society (BCS) will award 7 bursaries to students to attend the ITiCSE 2007 conference in Dundee. These bursaries would not be possible without the generous support of the British Computer Society.
Applications
Applications are open to postgraduate students who feel attendance at ITiCSE 2007 will further enhance their academic career.
- UK students can apply for a bursary to cover conference registration, accommodation and travel.
- Overseas students can apply for a bursary to cover conference registration, accommodation and travel within the UK.
- Reasonable travel expenses will be covered, ie Apex train fares.
- Accommodation will be booked the conference and will likely be at the conference venue.

Applications should contain:
- Curriculum Vitae - this should be one page in length and include details of your academic qualifications, previous and current research projects, details of other conferences you have attended, details of any publications, plus any other achievements.
- Letter of Application - this should detail why you think you deserve to be awarded a bursary. Outline why ITiCSE 2007 will benefit your future studies and academic development.
- Letter of Support - this should be made by your supervisor, who should indicate their support for your application including any benefits they see for your attendance at the conference.
Deadline
Application deadline is 24th April 2007. We will endeavour to announce the winners by 8th May 2007.
